The Advocacy HQ runs a legislative session end to end: a watchlist the legislature keeps current, a coalition that mobilizes in an afternoon, and an expenditure record that comes out formatted for North Carolina disclosure.
Sign in to the live demoReal software, fictional client. This instance runs on recorded delivery, so letters are captured and tallied inside the demo.
A scheduled job reads the legislature's feed and writes every status change onto the bill's own timeline — position, status, hearing date, in order, with the time it happened. The board keeps itself current.
The answer is already on the board.
Monday morning opens with the weekend already logged.
Publish a campaign at its own public address. Supporters write their legislator directly from it, matched to the right chamber, and the tally updates as letters arrive. The sign-on letter runs the same way — organizations add themselves, and every one is reviewed before it appears in public.
Every public submission is verified before it counts, so the list that reaches a committee holds up.
An ask goes out in the morning; the count is in by lunch.
The register holds legislators, staff and allied organizations, each with its own interaction history. Schedule a meeting and attendees get a calendar invite; mark it complete and the interaction record and the ledger entry are already written — attendee, minutes, subject, date.
The disclosure export reads that same ledger. The compliance record accumulates as the work happens.
The record is complete before anyone asks for it.
Every expense carries what § 120C-401(b) asks for: fair market value, date, description, payee name and address, and the designated individual it benefited. A quarter or an in-session month produces the item table, the § 401(e) category totals, and the computed due date.
Everything is accounted for. Items at or below the $10-per-individual-per-day threshold get their own list, showing exactly what falls below the line and why. Anything still missing a required field is flagged while there is time to fill it in.
The registrant files. The Advocacy HQ prepares the records. The field mapping follows Chapter 120C as published by the General Assembly, and counsel confirms it against the Secretary of State's current electronic forms before the first filing. The export is the prepared packet, not legal advice.
